The Scientific Committee under the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health today (25th) issued recommendations on influenza vaccination for the 2022/23 influenza season in Hong Kong. The Committee recommended that for administrative convenience and to increase vaccination rates, with informed consent, flexible arrangements could be made to administer both the COVID-19 vaccine and the seasonal influenza vaccine during the same visit. The same principle also applies to residential care homes and similar establishments.
